A conditional sentence is a type of sentence that expresses a
hypothetical situation or event and its potential consequences.
Conditional sentences typically consist of two parts: the "if" clause
(also known as the conditional clause) and the "result" clause (also
known as the main clause). The structure and meaning of a
conditional sentence can vary depending on the type of condition
being expressed. There are four main types of conditional sentences:

1.Zero Conditional:
• Structure: If + simple present tense,
simple present tense.
• Usage: Used to express general truths or
facts that are always true when a certain
condition is met.
• Example: If you heat water to 100
degrees Celsius, it boils.

Structure: If + present simple tense, will + base form of the verb/bare infinitive.
Usage: Used to talk about possible future events or outcomes based on a real
condition in the present or future.
Example: If it rains tomorrow, I will stay at home.

•Structure: If + past simple tense, would + base form
of the verb.
•Usage: Used to talk about hypothetical or unlikely
situations in the present or future.
•Example: If I won the lottery, I would travel the
world.

• Usage: Used to talk about hypothetical situations in
the past and their imagined outcomes, but both are
unreal or impossible.
• Example: If she had studied harder, she would have
