Ballistic Research Centre & Testing
Range is solely dedicated to the
application and development of
advanced technology in the area of
forensic.
More emphasis is given to the
defense establishments, law
enforcement agencies, and other
security service providers.
The entire process of service includes
the examination and assessment of
ballistics materials such as armored
materials e.g. Armored Vehicle, Body
Armor, Helmet/ Patka, Tyre Testing,
Composite LPG Cylinder, Bullet
Resistant Panels and Stab.
Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature
BEOS is a technique by which a suspect
participation in a crime is detected by
electing electro physiological impulses. It
works on EEG.

BEOS is a non-invasive technique with a


great degree of sensitivity and a neuro-
psychological method of interrogation
which is referred to as brain fingerprinting
or brain finger mapping. BEOS is used to
identify individuals with experience of
participating in a crime.

BEOS was developed by Champadi Raman

Center of Excellence for Narcotics Drugs
and Psychotropic Substances
It is a government organization
established with a mission to
diminish the drug of abuse cases
and to combat against the drug
trafficking.
CoE will assist the other
government agencies by
developing the database of
narcotic and psychotropic
substances through research and
development.
The latest technologies would be
developed to identify designer
drugs, precursor chemicals and
other impurities in the illicit
drugs.
Courses offered by NFSU :
• The institution provides admission to one PG Diploma and 4 MBA PG
programs.
• Applicants must have completed a three-year UG program.
• The institution offers MSC, MS-PhD, MTech, and PhD programs.
• The institution also conducts training for government personnel in
Forensic Sciences and Medicines.
• MSc and PhD applicants with GPAT or GATE can be exempted from the
institute-level qualifying test.
• Applicants to PhD and MS-PhD programs will be evaluated based on
institute-level qualifying tests.
