Letter Sounds
Two English sounds that can be hard for
Turkish speakers are /v/ and /w/.

/v/ is the sound of the letter V.
/w/ is the sound of the letter W.
Listen for /v/ or /w/ as single sounds.
Write the sound you hear.

With a partner, one person is the speaker and the other is the listener.
The speaker says ONE of the words for each number (a OR b).
The listener tells the speaker which word they heard (a OR b).
If you do not agree, the speaker should try again until you agree.
Repeat, changing the speaker/listener roles.
