4. Protect your business values when scaling up: Be prepared for massively
changing things while scaling up and competing for your time and attention.

Mr. Mayur Satyavart
 Mr. Mayur Satyavrat, Head L& D at RBL Bank, is a post graduate in Management
from Delhi University & Indian School of Business Hyderabad coupled with
masters diploma in training,.
 He has an over 16 years of experience in the area of Change Management,
Learning and Development and Talent Management.
 Mr. Satyavarat in this video tells about his life journey starting from the point
where he was into marketing and how his carrier turns into training and
development.
 His motivation behind choosing the Learning and Development as his Proffesion
was the person in the Pepasi when he was doing his internship during MBA.
 He also describes the different role he played in his carrier starting from the
Amway, where he get his 4 level certification from USA and become a certified
trainer of amway, till getting into RBL L&D Head.
 After this certification at age of 22 he was the youngest person to train more
than 10k trainees which help him boost up his confidence and soon at the age of
23-24 he become the National Training Head.
 Kainetik Honda, where he was having the role to step up training functions
ground up. He worked on the project called Enquiry Conversion Protocol, in
2002, where by giving the training, making staff learn about the skills to convey
the proper knowledge to the customers he puts the conversion ratio from 30:1 to
12: 1.
 The challenge what he face is learning with the time as the industry will get
saturated with the old things at a particular time.
 TATA AIG where he interviewed and having not any specific role. The people of
organization ask him to setup the office at new place starting from the starch.
 In his carrier he play different roles in different companies with different domain
like FMCG, Automobile, BFSI. Working in all the domain was not the same thing,
the factor that has help in to outstand in his role was to unlearn the old things
and relearning the new things as per the working environment.
 He also work in MIT Life, Motilal Oswal where he help them to fulfill their dream
to become the worlds best in organization. He builds the right culture, create HR
road map, create valuable organization, aligning business strategies with HR
strategy.
 He also get failed in near 2008 where he has to restart his carrier with Viacom a
completely different industry where he completes their dream by making them in
top 3 media company. He with his team creates the goal, vison, mission and
motivates all the employees with T&D to work in coordination to achieve what
they had dreamed off.
 RBL Bank where along with Mr. Satyavrat many CEO of different organization like
SCB, Citi bank, IDBI have come together to make RBL as most modern
contemporary bank in India.
 The vision of the bank was 70% of share holders will be from bank, 20% of bank
will be owned by the employee of the bank, which they currently persist.
 With the versatility of learning new things and putting into action, RBL becomes

Upadhyay
 Ms. Debadutta Upadhyay is the founder & CEO of Timesaverz. In this video she
shared about the journey and the business of Timesaverz till now.

 Timesaverz is basically an easiest platform that helps you easier life by getting all
home services organized at click of a button.

 She had a study in Journalism at that point Mr. Prannoy Roy was her ideal, he
wants to become someone like him in the filed of journalism.

 She started her carrier with the Times of India as a Sales person which was
exactly different from her study in journalism. This some how leads to her sales
carrier from Times of India to Yahoo.
 Again going forward she work in Videopia where exactly she got the idea about
being a entrepreneur for Timesaverz.

 At Yahoo she got to meet the head person Neville Taraporewala whom she work
with work very long time, not only in yahoo but also he was the first investor in
Timevsaverz and continuing to be the Board Observer in Timesaverz.

 Turning her carrier into entrepreneurship was not the base of Ms. Upadhya. She
says in this video that the person who is currently the co-founder at Timesaverz
Mr. Lovnish Bhatia, was the one who looks out the good in her, her skills, who
was the mentor and motivator of her, who help her in perusing the carrier of
becoming an entrepreneur and that’s how the Timesaverz came into existence.
 The source of Timesaverz was born from her personal real life experience with her
son, where she was facing difficulty in managing her worklife with her personal lfe.
She explains how she was facing the difficulty with houeshold problems like need
of plumber, electricians, etc , being in a nuclear family , managing her job, her
family with her household activities, which give to taught of facing same thing with
many other same nuclear families which gives a root of Timesaverz.

 Working on making timesaverz as viable, sustainable organization with all the


family support and coordination with team she explains the she face in all this at
the ramp up stage where they accumulate almost 12 months to create a network
in Mumbai. After in Mumbai, they had a good run in growing and expanding in
different cities.
 The best interesting question that motivate her to grow their business was:

Pillai
 Mr. Harikrishnan Pillai is the founder of “The Small Big Idea”.

 He is an alumni of WeSchool in 2006-2008 batch of Marketing.

 While studying in welingkar, he was one of the youngest general secretary, and
among the favorite students of his time. By choosing the educational institution to
upheld his future carrier he said welignkar was the best, as long with different
institution welignakar also bass about his history but what makes it different from
others was his thinking of what’s next? Not only about the institution but also for
their students.

 He started his carrier with Zee Network as a Brand Manager and having the

 Working experience with different enterprises, with different job roles right from basic

gets a boost to become an Entrepreneur in his carrier, that is where the Small Big data

 Learnings:
 The article is about future demand on Data consumption by the people - enabling people
to find content they want to with the help Cloud Solutions.
 Cloud in content delivery and consumption, the cloud infrastructure providers like
Google’s TV Platform, Amazon are getting more and more viewers for content
consumption by the people in current century.
 Future cloud use in content discovery, cloud technologies have been rapidly adopted by

HERE’S HOW FLIPKARTIS USING AI TO RESLOVE INDIA’S ADDRESS PROBLEM

 Learnings:
 Currently India is not having the accuracy address information available.
 Flipkart, one of the biggest e-commerce companies in India, is turning to Machine Learning and
Artificial Intelligence to solve the complicated address puzzle.
 Ravindra Babu, Filpkart Data scientist has explained on how the company uses new age technologies to
build an ‘address intelligence’
 On an average 9-10 words are sufficient for a shipment to reach a particular place, But people includes
unnecessary details which is not required and these addresses makes difficult for a machine to
understand.
 Flipkart is also working to get the addresses marked on the map. It has partnered with maps service
providers like MapMyIndia for geo-tagging locations.
 Flipkart first tries to understand how the addresses are given. The company uses a conventional
machine learning models and deep learning solutions to identify whether the address is monkey typed
—addresses containing randomly typed alphanumeric characters.
 With enough infrastructure, which include cloud-based computing and Flipkart-owned solutions,
coupled with powerful GPUs and CPUs in place, the technology automatically provides a sub-area name.
This makes the entire process faster and simpler.
 Flipkart uses both conventional machine learning models and deep learning solutions which are used
for various purposes, including the fix for address problem.

>> Whoever the naysayers and dream stuffers are, it's important to identify those people in our
life. Thereafter creating a specific strategy to protect your energy, emotions, and mindset. Learn
the habit to only take advice from people whose principles in life and business you respect or
can use to build yours up.
 What are the habits that I will use to maximize time and energy?
>> Apart from time the most valuable currency is energy because your true value of time will
exist in how it's invested. Habits such as preparation, practicing your craft, planning, and
building relationships need to be viewed with the highest priority.

LEADERSHIP LESSONS TO BE LEARNED FROM ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE
 Learnings:
 Atal Bihari Vajpayee, one of the many leaders the world has produced but very few have earned respect
even from their critics. The one who had his last breath on August 16th, 2018.
 A true leader, positive thinker who never crossed his line despite being the Prime Minister or leader of
the opposition. He had the unique ability to bring everyone together.
 Sumitra Mahajan, Lok Sabha Speaker, said, “Atal ji was like a star in the sky of politics, which shone
brighter than everyone else.
 He was a very calm and composed person, a great listener which makes him one of the best orators of
his time. He always put the country above himself and his party.
 His great leadership qualities has been followed and adapted by many great peoples. Some of them had
phrased his greatness as follows:
 BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, “There is no one like Vajpayee and there will be no one
like him.”

GMAIL’S NEW AVATAR AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
 Learnings:
 The new-look Gmail has answered many of the demands of its users: it is more secure now, has better looks
and add-ons, is easier to navigate, and responds better to low-bandwidth scenarios.
 Hover buttons: User can now delete, archive or even snooze emails just by placing the cursor over the mail,
without opening the mail. These buttons save precious time and data.
 Snooze: The button can postpone response to particular mails by snoozing them for a specific time. Once
snoozed, the mail disappears from the list and reappears later at the time you’ve set allowing you to give it a
detailed look and feedback.
 Confidential mail: Gmail users can now send emails that will die after a certain period. This is useful when
you are sending confidential emails. The tool will let others know you are sending a very important message
and you can also set an SMS passcode for your mails to be opened by another user. The confidentiality
feature is silent on Mac OS for now.
 Right pane: The right side of the Gmail interface now features a narrow lane containing Google Calendar,
Keep and Tasks. It helps you take notes, set tasks and reminders and you can even fetch more add-ons to this
pane using Google’s GSuite marketplace.
 AI-powered reply and nudging: Google has been offering a ‘smart reply’ feature for Gmail, which many users
find quite useful as it allows them to send quick, pre-set responses without typing them out. Along with its
also provides Nudging feature where Gmail will remind you (nudge) about mails you haven’t responded.

 Caller ID app Truecaller has reached a key milestone over 100 million active users who are
using the app on a daily basis due to its versatility in help it provides.
 Launched in 2009 as a Caller ID and spam blocking app, Truecaller has evolved into a full-
fledged communications platform with calling, texting, flash Messages and payment services
through Truecaller Pay.
 Truecaller Backup' feature for Android that allows users to backup and restore their contacts,
call history, block list, and settings to Google Drive.
 Truecaller has become a resource for women's safety in many countries; or that it would be
used for e-commerce and courier services around the globe to facilitate the difficult last mile of
delivery, or allow more people to experience a data-only product in offline mode.
 Truecaller is integrating payments as a core part of its offering. The new version of the app is
expected to have dedicated tabs for banking and payments respectively. The banking tab will
have features like Send and request money, scan and pay among others. It will also allow users
to transfer money between their own accounts, to pay utility bills, recharges and bookings
among others.

 Safety And Security: Smart-home security systems can analyze and learn user behavior
patterns and alert you in case there is any unusual activity. Example: Protect America
 Easy Tracking of Items: Tracking the ones loving devices just by attach the TrackR device to
the valuable item.
 Voice Activated Home Hubs: The most impactful uses of IoT is the smart-home hub.
Amazon Echo, Google Home, Wink and Nest are some of home hubs that complete you
