1. Please read the general guidelines for the final examination of June - December

2. It is compulsory for all the students with a valid semester registration (regular, pro-
rata or repeat) to sit for the final examination of June - December semester 2020.

5. The registration numbers of students who are eligible to sit for the final

6. It is the responsibility of the student to check the eligibility list to see if your name
appears in all the subjects registered. Any registration issue or examination clashes
must be informed via link given below. Select “My name is not in the eligible student
list” option under Examination issue to be reported (Question 08)

7. Students are not allowed to change their allocated session for the examination.

8. The “Lockdown Browser” is used for some examinations. Therefore, please ensure
that the device you are using has the “Lockdown Browser” installed. The link to

9. Please note that it is the responsibility of the student to foresee possible shortfalls in
taking an online examination and make sure to avoid evitable circumstance.
Click on the relevant module code to connect to the examination server. Your
Office365 username and password is required to login.
12. If your name appears on the eligibility list and if you are unable to login, please
contact the Academic Affairs Hotline.

13. If your password is not working or if you are experiencing technical issues with the
Examination System during the examination, you can contact IT Services via

14. A student who is unable to take the final exam due to a medical reason must
complete the online form via the link given below and send a valid scanned copy of
the medical certificate within the 14 days of the exam to supportAA@sliit.lk.
15. A student facing a technical or communication difficulty during the exam (ex: loss of
internet connectivity, laptop breakdown, power failure etc.) must inform the issue to
Academic Affairs by submitting Online Examination Issues or by sending a text
message to 0768007766 during the span of the exam (Viber, WhatsApp messages
are also accepted). Emails or text messages received after this will not be
considered.
16. A student who is absent for a final examination without submitting valid evidence as
per the methods mentioned above will be given zero marks for the final examination
and the next attempt will be taken as a repeat.
