10th September 2023

2. Assessment Methodology
3 hours question paper to test reading, writing and listening skills .Speaking test will be conducted
separately and the necessary information will be sent to the candidates apply for CS2 exam.

3. Examination Centers
Colombo, Kandy, Kurunegala, Galle & Jaffna. This will be held as a paper based examination for all
the subjects. The same exam will be held virtually only for the students living in foreign countries.
The examination center cannot be changed after submitting the application.

4. Acceptance of Applications
Calling date of applications : 24.07.2023
Closing date of applications : 07.08.2023
Closing date of late applications(with Penalty fee of 50%) : 09.08.2023

6. Attendance for CS2 Course

All students who apply for the CS2 exam for the first time must register for the course and should have
maintain at least 75% attendance for the CS2 course conducted by an approved teaching college.

7. General Instructions

Examination fees paid by candidates will not be refunded or carried forward under any circumstances.
Your application form will be rejected in the event of failure to fulfill any of the above requirements.
The Director Examination reserves the right to reject your application, if it is incomplete/incorrectly filled or if
you have not adhered to the requirements as mentioned in the application.

8. Instructions for overseas students

Given below are the requirements needed to sit for the virtual examination in line with the increased security
features to prevent malpractices.
 • Internet: 4G Broadband Connection
• Desktop/Laptop with Windows 8.1 or 10 and a webcam.
• Install Safe exam browser in your laptop/desktop.(Versions 3.1 ,3.2,3.3 or 3.4)
• Install MS Teams software in separate device to connect with proctor during the virtual examination.

Note : - Strict action will be taken against students including the suspension or cancellation of their studentship
in the event they commit malpractices during the examination.
