SOS Children’s Villages
Even though measures to protect children have been
put in place, Albania is still one of the most
dangerous places in Europe for children. Albania
has a high infant mortality rate, so the risks start at
birth and don’t go away until early adulthood when
young people don’t have many chances and find it
hard to be on their own. SOS Children’s Villages
aims to change all of this for the better.

Relief UK helps local families by sponsoring orphans, giving
them job training, giving them food, and responding to local
disasters.

Albanian-speaking migrants and refugees in the UK to take
part and make a difference. Through their projects and
services, they help and encourage people and families to be
good members of British society.

Mission Without Borders

Mission Without Borders focuses most of its work in
Albania on the city of Durres, where many people
from poor rural areas move to find work. They help
families and children and, when necessary, deal with
problems like drug abuse and domestic violence.
They want to make families less likely to be
trafficked or forced to move for work by giving them
a way to become self-sufficient and get out of
poverty.

CONCLUSION
● Giving to charity strengthens personal values

● Having the power to improve the lives of others is, to many

people, a privilege, and one that comes with its own sense of
obligation.

● The allocation of donations must be strictly monitored to

ensure that it does not end up in the wrong hands. There is
much hardship in the world, and it is the fortunate man's
inherit duty to help better those who are less fortunate.

● A charity with good impact practice is more likely to have a

good strategy that achieves results. This in turn can attract good
people and keep them motivated, while good leadership, staff and
governance underpins results and will ensure good financial and
operational management.
