Industry
Introdu
ction
A sugar industry is a small-scale industry that shows the
process of how sugar is made from sugarcane. The 5 main
processes to make sugar from sugarcane are:
-Washer
-Boiler
-Conveyor
-Washer
-Weighing
Sugar Manufacturing
Washer
Process
The washer is the first step to making sugar. It
just cleans the soil and dirt or any chemicals so,
that they can make sugar cleanly. It also solves
the difficulties in grinding and in processing
juices from mechanically harvested cane.
Sugar Manufacturing
Boiler
Process
Boiling is the second step where the washed
sugarcanes come inside the boiler and they are
boiled with solid cubes of sugarcane as the
product. This process may take a lot of time and
the boiler’s temperature is about 400°C.
Sugar Manufacturing
Conveyor
Process
Conveyor is actually not a step of the process but
it is a part of it. The conveyor belt is mainly used
to handle raw materials in the sugar industry. You
can get sugar conveyor belt for crystal sugar
conveying.
Sugar Manufacturing
Washer
Process
Washing twice helps the sugar to be nicely and
cleanly packed and edible to eat as sometimes
they get inedible. Especially in this pandemic
(Covid-19) we should be more careful not only
with our health, even with our food.
Sugar Manufacturing
Weighing
Process
This is the last step where the final product
(sugar) is weighed in kilograms (kg) and also it
helps the customers to have exact amount not
accurately or cheating of giving less or more. It is
equally measured with same price.
