TALIBAN RULINGS ● Post 9/11 - US invasion of Afghanistan
● Democratic Afghan government
● Women restricted ● The US hunting for Taliban members
● Music and TV were banned
● Brutal and frequent punishments ● Taliban able to recruit, governing some
areas as early as 2009
● US struck a deal with the Taliban to leave
