 1st PROBLEM STATEMENT

A study on the effectiveness of vimala massage on the serum

bilirubin level of neonates with hyperbilirubinemia under
phototherapy admitted in NICU of a tertiary care hospital solan ,
H.P.
 AIM
• To assess the effectiveness of vimala massage on the serum bilirubin level
of neonates with hyperbilirubenemia under phototherapy admitted in the
NICU of a tertiary care hospital, solan ( Himachal Pradesh).
 OBJECTIVES
1. To assess the Pre and Post interventional level of bilirubin in both
experimental group and control group.
2. To compare the pre and post interventional bilirubin level of both
groups.
3. To find out the association of the bilirubin level of both group with
their selected sociodemographic variable and clinical profile.

 AIM
• To assess effectiveness of oil massage on sleep pattern among low birth
weight babies admitted in tertiary care hospital , solan (Himachal Pradesh).
 OBJECTIVES

1. To assess the pre and post interventional sleep pattern among low birth
weight babies.
2. To compare pre and post interventional sleep pattern among low birth
weight babies.
3. To find out the association of pattern of sleep with sociodemographic
variables and clinical profile of low birth weight babies.

 AIM
• To assess effect of helfer skin tap technique in pain intensity during
vaccination among newborn admitted in tertiary care hospital, solan
(Himachal Pradesh)
 OBJECTIVES

1. To assess the effectiveness of helfer skin tap technique on pain intensity

during vaccination among newborn babies.
2. To identify the association between the demographic variables and post
procedure score on pain intensity during vaccination among newborn
babies.
