How to type accented vowels (without going to Insert Special Character)

This doesn’t generally work on mobiles and some laptops, but here we go:

Press key Alt and at the same time the combination of numbers from the keypad on the right:

é Alt 130 (only used for perché / né / affinché)
ì Alt 141
ò Alt 149
ù Alt 151
