    Golden Cucumber
    Long, long ago

    Grandma wants a baby.


    But she was alone.

    No Grandpa.

    ??
    ?
    No baby.
    !

    I have an idea!
    “Help, please!” she says to Buto Ijo.

    Buto Ijo
    “Okay”
    “Here you are!” Buto Ijo gave
    Grandma cucumber seeds.

    “But I want to eat it later!”


    Grandma plants the cucumber.
    Wow!

    It’s a golden cucumber! Inside it is a baby girl!


    Grandma loves this child. Her name is Timun Mas.
    “I want to eat the cucumber!”
    “I want to eat the yummy cucumber!”
    Timun Mas runs away from Buto Ijo!
    “I want to eat the yummy cucumber!”

    “No!” Timun Mas threw a needle!


    “I want to eat the yummy cucumber!”

    “No!” Timun Mas threw a bag of dirt.


    “I want to eat the yummy cucumber!”

    “No!” Timun Mas threw a bag of salt.


    Buto Ijo drowns in the sea!
    Timun Mas is now happy with Grandma!
