Is a term used when there
are limits to a person’s

in daily life.
Intellectual learner’s are not as
easily identified as are the other
two types of learners.
Intellectual learners tend to

there are many treatment options that may
help improve your child’s daily functioning.
TRISOMY 21
Trisomy 21 includes certain
birth defects, learning
problems and facial features.
A child with down
syndrome or trisomy 21
also may have heart
defects and problem
with vision and hearing.
Symptoms of Trisomy 21
Short height
Loose joints
Short neck

Small ears that may fold over slightly at the top

Eyes that slant upward
