THE EARTH
STORY
It has been raining hard since last
night. There is no typhoon signal
but the heavy rain cause the whole
city to be flooded forcing the local
officials to suspend classes in
Metro Manila.
 You noticed that the
water is getting deeper
everytime it rains.
We become victims of
our wrongdoings.
 What is the
connection of the
tree to the flood?
TREES take up the rain
water before releasing it
gradually later.
 If we have no TREES, more
water roll down the stream
and increase the intensity of
flood and causes soil erosion.
 TREES are very
important.
They are the LUNGS
of the EARTH
 TREES are the most
important natural
resources that mankind
need.
Earth is the only living planet in the
solar system. God created Earth
beautiful for us to live in. It is now
our duty and responsibility to take
care of our natural resources and
our environment.
