JOB ANALYSIS- Process of studying and collecting
information relating to the operations and responsibilities
of a specific job.
Why would you need a job
analysis or
in what situations might a
job analysis be useful?
Job description and Job specification
are two integral parts of job analysis.

A job description is a document that states an


overview of the duties, responsibilities, and
functions of a specific job in an organization.

A job specification is a statement of the


qualifications, personality traits, skills, etc. required
by an individual to perform the job.

and how he/she does it.
➢ Job context- talks about the workplace or
environment where the job is performed.

outcomes:
