• LA Localizations has all features developed in a single


product with code CLL
• CLL – Latin America Consulting Localizations
– CLE – Europe
– CLJ – Japan
– CLA – Asia / Pacific
• All objects were recreated/renamed starting with “CLL”
• For migrated customers there is a process to load data into
CLL new tables
• All lookups were recreated using FND_LOOKUPS
• Consulting localization delivers patch in English only
(translation is done by a translation group). Service Requests
regarding translation goes to hub

• 11i profiles are obsolete – need to define new CLL profiles
• 11i lookups are obsolete – need to define new CLL lookups
• Responsibilities need to be assigned to new menus and requests

LA Localizations – Migration from 11i to R12
• Concurrent programs (request sets) created to perform migration
for each product
• Migration steps for each product request set
– Drop 11i triggers / views / packages
– Copy sequence values to new CLL sequences
– Load CLL tables as copy from 11i tables
Notes:
11i tables and sequences remain for historic/review purposes
User can not enter data in Release 12 until migration process
finishes
There are separated concurrent programs to remove CAI objects
(triggers and views)
