• Self-understanding is the ability to comprehend who you are and what
factors contributed to shaping your identity.

• It involves understanding your thoughts, feelings, and actions, along


with the underlying motivations that drive them.

• The recognition of these motivations' aids in the development of a


strong sense of identity.

• Self-understanding is dynamic and evolves over time as individuals


gain insights from their experiences.
