Let T1 and T2 be the tangents point . Join T1 and T2 to form
long chord
The long chord T1T2 is bisected at D. The vertical line CD is mid ordinate which
is calculated by formula CD= R(1-cosA/2 ). Hence point C is established .
T1C and T2C are joined . Similarly T1C and T2C are bisected at D1 and D2 resp.

Perpendicular offset D1C1 and D2C2 each will be equal to R(1-cosA/4).

Hence C1 and C2 are established. Join T1,C2,C ,C2 and T2 to get curve.

By the succesive bisection of the chords T1C1 ,C1C and C2T2 ……….
respectively
, more may be obtained which when joined produce the required
curve.
The more we take succesive bisection of chord more
points we get as a result we get accurate curve.
