STRATEGIC

PLANNING IN GOD’S
PERSPECTIVE
Proverbs 21:5
5 The plans of the diligent
lead surely to plenty,
But those of everyone who is
hasty, surely to poverty.
Proverbs 20:18 (NKJV)
18 Plans are established by
counsel;
By wise counsel wage war.
GOD IS THE MASTER
PLANNER
GOOD IDEAS ARE NOT
GOOD ENOUGH UNLESS
THEY ARE GOD’S IDEAS
Proverbs 19:21 (NKJV)
21 There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand.
Isaiah 55:8-11 (NKJV)
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there, But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
GOD’S REVELATION IN THE
SPIRIT
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 (NKJV)
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.
For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things
of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man
except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so
no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of
God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might
know the things that have been freely given to us by
God.
THREE IMPORTANT THINGS
IN OUR MINISTRY
1. SPIRITUALLY
A. THE REVELATION OF WHO YOU ARE
B. THE REVELATION YOUR CALLING
C. THE REVELATION OF YOUR
ASSIGNMENT
D. THE REVELATION OF HIS POWER

[EXAMPLE….PAUL …ACTS 9:1-16]

Acts 9:15-16 (NKJV)
15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for
he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear
My name before Gentiles, kings, and
the children of Israel. 16 For I will
show him how many things he must
suffer for My name’s sake.”
A Pastor must be a
Leader
1 Peter 5:2-4 (NKJV)

2 Shepherd the flock of God which is

among you, serving as overseers, not by
compulsion but willingly, not for
dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as
being lords over those entrusted to you,
but being examples to the flock; 4 and
when the Chief Shepherd appears, you
will receive the crown of glory that does
not fade away.
You the
leader,
Not being
Led
A SHEPHERD - SPIRITUAL
LEADER
1. A minister to the people (v. 2).
Peter exhorts them to shepherd their
flock, serving them before being served.
2. A mentor of the people (vv. 2, 3).
Peter asks them to eagerly invest in the
flock, not as lords, but as examples.
3. A manager of the people (vv. 2,
3).Peter calls them to exercise oversight
over those entrusted to their care.
4. A model for the people (v. 3).
2. ADMINISTRATIVELY
1 Corinthians 12:28 (NKJV)
28 And God has appointed these in the
church: first apostles, second prophets,
third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts
of healings, helps, administrations,
varieties of tongues.
MANY SAYS;
THAT THE CHURCH IS A
LIVING ORGANISM
I BELIEVE THAT 100%;
THAT THE CHURCH IS A LIVING
ORGANISM AND SPIRITUAL IN
NATURE
….BUT THE
EFFECTIVENESS OF THE
CHURCH IS THE VISIBLE
MANIFESTATION OF A
UNIFIED,SYNCHRONISE
AND IN HARMONIOUS
WAYS TO ACHIEVE ITS
POTENTIAL.
THE BODY IS THE
MOST ORGANISED
AND PERFECT
EXAMPLE IN THE
BIBLE
THE BODY WILL BENEFIT
AND TASTE ALL THE RICHES
OF SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS
IF ALL THE MEMBERS WILL
FUNCTION ACCORDING TO
THEIR GIFTS AND
PURPOSE
1 Corinthians 12:12-16 (NKJV)

Unity and Diversity in One Body

(cf. Eph. 4:1–16)
12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that
one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we
were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or
free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is
not one member but many.
15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it
therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an
eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?
1 Corinthians 12:17-25 (NKJV)
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole
were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the
members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were
all one member, where would the body be?
20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye
cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet,
“I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which
seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we
think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our
unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no
need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part
which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the
members should have the same care for one another.
1 Corinthians 12:25-27 (NKJV)
25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that
the members should have the same care for one
another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the
members suffer with it; or if one member is honored,
all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members
individually.

apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway by
which he went up to the house of the LORD, there was no more
spirit in her.

mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And
if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will
give you what is your own?
