RGB is an additive color model, meaning
that light emitted from the display adds
colors together to create a desired color.
When all three colors are combined at
their maximum intensity (255 each), they
produce white. Conversely, when all three
colors are at their lowest values (0 each)
they create black. When all three values
are equal, the resulting color is gray. In
between these extremes lie many shades
of colors which can be created by
adjusting the level of red, green, or blue in
