CASE STUDY
Gupta ltd. was founded in 2000, with the aim of becoming the most
Trustable company at times. And they were successful in achieving their
goal. Since then they became the leading market capturers in wooden
furniture. But in recent few years, the sales of the company has started
declining. And when they analyzed the business environment they found
that the trust they had earned in past years is losing because their
products did not match the quality standards.
Chaitanya, a Manager was appointed to check out the reason behind the
low quality products. On inspecting, she realised that the employees
were not working efficiently due to lack of motivation. Following
observations were made by her:
Prerna lacked financial motivation;
Jyoti lacked social needs;
Dinesh lacked esteem needs.
Chaitanya then informed Stuti, the CEO of the company regarding the
needs of the employees. Stuti made certain decisions which satisfied the
needs of the employees. Employees were really happy and satisfied the
changes and thus the company started growing again.
