of 5.

Mission statement
Are enduring statements of purpose that
distinguish one business from other similar
firms.
A mission statement identifies the scope of a
firm’s operations in product and market terms.
It answers the question “what is our business?”
A clear mission statement describes the values
and priorities of an organization.
(What You Do): A one-sentence statement
describing the reason an organization or
program exists and used to
help guide decisions about priorities,
actions, and responsibilities.
A good mission statement addresses
several questions:
What are the opportunities or needs that the
company addresses?
What is the business of the organization?
How are these needs being addressed?
What level of service is provided?
What principles or beliefs guide the
organization?
