ORGANIZATION

● Properties of a Well-Written Text

Organization
Organization in writing is how your ideas as a writer are
presented. It is the flow of your sentences and paragraphs
that make up your composition. The flow of your
composition can greatly affect how to readers understand or
interpret your work. It is one of the most important skills in
writing because an unorganized composition can lead to bad
feedback from readers and a bad text.
Organization
An organized composition has to have a
beginning, a middle, and an end.
Organization

First, the beginning part or the introductory

paragraph has to have the main topic and
introduces the topic in a concise way. Furthermore,
the introductory paragraph should hook the reders
into reading your whole work.
Organization

Second, the middle or the body part. The body is where

you present your ideas and expound on the main idea in
your introductory paragraph. The body is always the
discussion part and sometimes it can contain the main idea
of your composition. Ypu should only put one topic
sentence per paragraph and explain that topic sentence in
that paragraph.
Organization

Lastly, the end or the conclusion part of the

composition. The conclusion part speaks for itself because
you conclude your discussion from the body part. It
summarizes your discussion part and basically ends your
essay. A good conclusion can help in making people
remember your work.
