A SMILE
A smile costs nothing, but gives much. Yet, a smile cannot be bought,
It enriches those who receive, begged, borrowed, or stolen,
without making poorer those who give, For it is of no value to anyone else
It takes but a moment, until it is given away.
yet the memory of it may last forever.

A smile creates happiness in the home,

fosters good will in business, Some people are too tired
and is the sign of friendship. to give you a smile.
It brings rest to the weary, Give them one of yours,
cheer to the discouraged, No none needs a smile as much
sunshine to the sad, As those who have none to give.
and is nature’s best antidote for trouble.
I AM RESPONSIBLE!
When you do your job everyday, Use your manners, and say thanks and please,
You’re being responsible – that’s the way! Cover your nose if you have to sneeze

Tidy your room and clean up your toys, Being responsible is easy, you see,
Work hard at school, don’t make too much noise You can do it, please show me!

Say ‘I’m sorry’ if you make a mistake,

If something isn’t yours, then please don’t take.
THE BALLOON MAN
He always comes on market days And some are big and some are small,
And holds balloons – a lovely bunch – All tied together with a string.
And in the market square he stays, And if there is a wind at all
And never seems to think of lunch. They tug and tug like anything.

They're red and purple, blue and green, Some day perhaps he'll let them go
And when it is a sunny day And we shall see them sailing high,
The carts and people get between And stand and watch them from below —
You see them shining far away. They would look pretty in the sky!
