 Ledger
• Tally prime's ledgers are similar to the ledgers
used in books of accounts. Cash and Profit &
loss A/C are the two default ledgers.
Suppliers/ creditors, buyers/ debtors sales,
purchase, bank and so on will all be included
in the list of ledgers in the business.
Depending on the nature of the ledger, the
user can create it under the appropriate
group.
 Groups
• Groups are available in tally prime by default
to classify the ledgers. There are 28 default
Groups, like Bank Accounts, Indirect
Expenses, etc.
