ARTICLE
This article talked about the past and went into detail about the
actions before and during the murder. It also talked a little bit
about Dee Dee’s past and even revealed that she did the same
thing to her own mother.

The second article was more about the murder from
Gypsy’s point of view. It focused on her childhood, her
relationship with Nick, her mother, and her life during and
after prison.

 COMPARISON DIFFERENCES
Our first article explained more of both Gypsy and Dee Dee’s past. It explained the
events that led up to the killing but didn’t go as in-depth as the events of the murder.
It even mentioned the stages of Gypsy and Nick’s relationship before and after the
murder.

The second article explained the murder and the events afterward. One thing that
surprised me was that it said that GYpsy killed her mom while she was high,
however, it is not confirmed if that is a fact

The articles were similar because they both mentioned the events
leading to the murder. It also touched on Gypsy’s past, growing up
with Munchausen syndrome, and what happened to Gypsy after
the murder. It also explains her feelings about the murder and her
life in prison.

 COMPARIS BIASES: ARTICLE 1
ON
The first article seemed to be biased towards Gypsy and focused more on
her than the case in general. For example, it goes into Gypsy’s backstory of
living with Munchausen syndrome a lot, but it only says a few sentences
about Dee Dee’s backstory, even though her childhood influenced her life
and the crime.

The second article didn’t really show that much of a bias. It only focused
more on Gypsy, because it was based on an actual interview with GYspy
herself.
