Most families have a Christmas Tree (or maybe even

two!) in their house for Christmas. The decorating of the
tree is usually a family occasion, with everyone helping.
Christmas Trees were first popularised the UK by Prince
Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria.

In the UK, the main Christmas Meal is usually eaten at lunchtime or early afternoon on
Christmas Day. It's normally roast turkey, roast vegetables and 'all the trimmings' which
means vegetables like carrots & peas, stuffing and sometimes bacon and sausages. It's often
served with cranberry sauce and bread sauce.
SYMBOLS
UNION JACK
The flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland is known as the Union Flag or Union
Jack. It is blue and it is made up of three crosses. The
upright red is the cross of St. George, the patron saint of
England. The white diagonal cross (with the arms going
into the corners) is the cross of St. Andrew, the patron
saint of Scotland. The red diagonal cross is the cross of

What I like the most about the UK

 What I like most about U.K. are the symbols.

Most of all I liked the symbol of N.Ireland– SHAMROCK.
According to Christian beliefs, Saint Patrick used the
shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to Irish Christian
converts. He used each leaf to represent the Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit. The three leaves of the shamrock are also
said to stand for faith, hope, and love.
I just like it because this symbol brings only good
