DRAW TAB

- Whether using a digital pen,


touchscreen or mouse, the drawing
features in the PowerPoint can help in
adding notes, create shapes, edit text and
more
• The Draw tab is found on the ribbon. It offers three
types of drawing textures: pen, pencil, and
highlighter, each with a different look. It also
consists of Eraser, Lasso Select, Ruler, Ink to Shape
and Ink to Math

• To choose one, simply click it


1. Eraser – it erases ink that you’ve drawn on slides .Click Eraser, then hold down the left
mouse button and drag the eraser over what you want to erase. Click Erase All Ink on Slide to
erase everything you’ve written or drawn on the slide

2. Lasso Select – Once Lasso Select is clicked, a little cross appears. Hold down the left
mouse button while circling the item/s you want to mark. When everything is marked, release
the mouse button. To exit this tool, press Lasso select again. Then, right click the marked
drawing and select Copy. Next, go to the slide you want your marked drawing to be pasted on
then select Paste by right clicking the mouse button.

3. Pens, Highlighter and Pencil – is used to draw on the slide. To draw, click and drag the
mouse If you want to change its color or thickness, click the drop-down arrow next to the pen
and select your preference.To turn this tool off, simply right click the mouse and select the
Esc key and select a different tool.

4. Ruler – Draw lines and align objects against a straightedge. Select the slide where you
want to use the ruler. Now tap the ruler to make it appear on the drawing surface of the slide.
Next, position the ruler at the angle you want. To draw a line, tap a pen or highlighter on the
Draw tab, and begin drawing.
5. Ink to Shape – automatically refine hand-drawn
shapes. This must be turned on before drawing shapes.
6. Ink to Math – convert handwritten Math equations
into typed numbers and symbols.
