Download CD distribution from link provided by Cisco.


Provision server machine.
Install server software.
a) Verify that IIS is installed and running.
b) Run AutoRun.exe from downloaded software distribution for installation
menu.
c) Launch Cisco WAAS Mobile.
Configure licensing.
a) Click Server Configuration, copy and paste the license number received
from Cisco, and click Submit.
b) Go to the home page in Cisco WAAS Mobile Manager.
c) Click Start Server.

Test and Verify Application Acceleration

Verify that Cisco WAAS Mobile is accelerating the test


client connection:
1. Disable acceleration.
2. Test native performance of the application.
3. Enable acceleration.
4. Test accelerated performance of the application.
5. Verify that the user experience is enhanced and confirm that
acceleration is functioning by viewing the Connection Monitor.

Summary

 The Cisco WAAS Mobile solution provides two levels of


optimization—application acceleration and bandwidth
optimization.
 Installing the Cisco WAAS Mobile server requires the Cisco
WAAS Mobile Manager and server components as well as valid
licensing.
 Installing a Cisco WAAS Mobile client is accomplished by running
the distribution package that was created on the Cisco WAAS
Mobile server.
