EFFECTS OF CLIMATE
CHANGE ON
CHANGE ON ANIMALS
ANIMALS
Climate change is one of the
greatest threats to the natural
world.

When we talk about climate change.

We often focus on how it affects
humans. However, it affect many
species on the planet.
For example:
Saiga antelope
The saiga (Saiga tatarica) is a
species of artiodactyl in the family
Bovidae, an endangered species
died in a period of two weeks, by
the effects of climate change in
2015.
Flying Foxes a kind of Bat
Flying Foxes died, it happened in
the summer of 2014, when the
temperature had climbed to 105
degrees Fahrenheit. They are
considered the largest bat in the
world.
Flying foxes are pollinators like
bees, so they are crucial for the
health and reproduction of
flowering tree species.
Wild Pigs
Another example where the effect of
climate change are not always bad
for animals, it happened in
Japan,with the wild pigs called
boars, in addition when the is
warmer weather,
Farmers can grow more food and
boars are visiting their farm to eat
the food. It is a species of wild pig
also known as wild boar,

which is characterized by
having a large head and
trunk compared to its short
and thin legs.
Its long, straight snout is one of the most characteristic
features of the wild boar. This gives it an extraordinarily
keen sense of smell, even using its snout like a bulldozer
when searching for food.
Climate change has fundamentally
negative effects on the environment,
society and the economy.

However, in some cases, there may

be some positive results.
.
Benefits include longer growing
seasons or lower temperatures,
which could benefit agriculture and
other industries
Climate change could endanger half of
the plant and animal species in the
world's most biodiverse areas
