PROJECT RATIONALE
Traditional methods of manual attendance tracking are time-consuming, prone to errors,
and lack of efficiency. With the advancement of technology, there's a pressing need to
automate this process to save time and resources while ensuring accuracy. The Automated
Attendance System aims to address these challenges by introducing a digital solution that
simplifies attendance tracking for various organizations. With the feature of SwipeInSync
to automate the attendance tracking process through QR Code technology , The
SwipeInSync offers a seamless and efficient solution for organizations , reducing
administrative burden and improving accuracy.

PROJECT
DESCRIPTION

The SwipeInSync will consist of three main components: a user


interface for administrators, a backend database for data storage
, and a QR CODE system for the users. and this will be
accomplished with the help of various components and
technology this include hardware, programming language , and
database.
DURATION
The project will commence on Friday April 5, 2024, and is estimated to be
completed within approximately 6 months, with the following chronological
breakdown:

• Phase 1: Planning and Requirements Analysis (Friday April 5 - Sunday


May 5, 2024)

• Phase 2: System Design and Development (Monday May 6 - Friday July


5, 2024)

• Phase 3: Testing and Refinement ( Saturday July 6 - Monday August 5,


2024)

• Phase 4: Deployment and Training (Tuesday August 6 - Thursday


September 5, 2024)

Simplifying attendance tracking for Streamlining time tracking
teachers and students, leading to processes for employees,
improved class management . enhancing productivity, and can be
used in payroll management
BUDGET
The budget for the project includes expenses related to
(scanners for QR CODE), software development tools,
personnel costs, and any additional resources required
for implementation. The budget for this is estimated at
70k to 150k pesos.
MONITORING AND
EVALUATION
The project manager holds the overall responsibility for ensuring that
Monitoring and Evaluating plans are developed and implemented
effectively. They coordinate with other team members to facilitate data
collection, analysis, and reporting processes. school administrators or
company administrator also plays a vital role in monitoring and evaluating
the project since they are the in charge in monitoring and managing a
system to their company or school , they will report the impact of the
implementation of the system and if anything goes wrong about the project
or system they can fix it and contact the company where they bought the
system from.
