Science education

• 3 dimensions; science knowledge, process of doing science and
scientific attitudes.
Teaching Science
• nations is dependent on the technical and scientific abilities of the
citizen
• significant part of the human culture and represents highlight of
human capacity
• it provides laboratory of common experience for the development of
language, logic and problem solving
• it will become a lifelong vocation or career
students who are proficient in science
• know, use and interpret scientific explanations
