Why We Know More About Cow Than Human Reproduction ???

 The dairy industry is already using all the possible tools for herd
reproductive management.
 Synchronization protocols are used extensively, along with artificial
insemination (AI), sperm sexing, superovulation, IVF, and embryo
transfer.
 All these techniques were adopted quickly by producers, as they help
to maximize the genetic improvement of cattle breeds.
 These techniques have been tested and optimized to take full
advantage of reproductive management.
 The ovarian physiology of the cow is one of the best understood, and
numerous research laboratories already use it as a model for the
study of reproductive biology.
 Livestock animals provide valuable resources to
investigate the optimal intra-follicular environment
required to facilitate folliculogenesis and translate to
humans
