What do these scenarios have in common?

■ When talking about numbers, we might think about MATH. According to a dictionary
math is a science that deals with numbers and logic. Some of us really find it very
difficult but some really love it. Children often say, “I HATE NUMBERS AND MATH”
but they really don’t know that numbers have many uses and importance in our life.
Here are some reasons why numbers are important:
• First, we always encounter numbers in our everyday life. We use them in adding (+),
subtracting (-), multiplying (x) and dividing ( / ) our payments or other expenses. For
example, at the supermarket or any store.
• Second, numbers are important in some courses or professions. Numbers are used in
marketing, architecture, sciences and many other professions.
• Third, by knowing numbers, we improve our logical skills in math, their ability to solve
problems on their own and they improve their skills in thinking in abstract ways.
