BALLET
 Is a theatrical dance that combines dance d’ecole
dance technique(academic dance technique)music,
costume, and stage scenery.
 It started in Italy during the Renaissance period.
 Ballet was first used as form of royal entertainment.
PHILIPPINE BALLET
 Ballet was first introduced in our country as
compositional presentation during the Spanish
colonization.
 The performance of different international ballet dancers
or groups in the country led to the formal establishment
of ballet in the Philippines.
