TIME MANAGEMENT IN A 48-HOUR EXAM WINDOW

Allow 2 to 3 hours, not including breaks

Follow this sequence:

5. Take a break.
6. Re-read draft essay and update where necessary.
7. For effective proofreading, read it backwards, or out loud. This may

paragraph essay of 500 words on ONE of the following topics.
PLEASE DO NOT DO ANY OUTSIDE “RESEARCH”, and do not use
Gen AI such as Chat GPT. Your supporting ideas must come
from your own knowledge, ideas and experience. This essay
will be scanned for plagiarism.
WRITING THE ESSAY
• Make sure the introductory paragraph has background, thesis and
plan of development
• The Thesis Statement should be an opinion about the main topic
• Make sure each supporting paragraph has a clear topic sentence
with an appropriate transition
• Indent each paragraph so that paragraph division is easy to see
• Support your topic sentences with facts from your own experience
and general knowledge. DO NOT USE THE INTERNET
• Don’t forget to double space!
