Saudi Arabia’s Energy Challenges:
The abundance of hydrocarbons Kingdom’s energy system has relied on and been limited to fossil fuel.
Saudi Arabia’s eventually is on a shortfall of 25.8GW to its 2023 target. Only 0.3% of total electricity came from
renewable energy in 2020.
Saudi Arabia’s current renewable capacity additions see the country adding an average of 0.1GW a year between 2010-
2021.
Kingdom has lack of skilled labor in renewable energy sector.
Solution
We will contribute to the green electricity initiative of the kingdom by supplying energy efficient solar thermal heating
and cooling to residential, commercial and industrial level.
We will contribute renewable energy short fall of the kingdom.

We have skilled labor to operate and installed the units.

Value Proposition
Less global warming
Human activity is overloading our atmosphere with carbon dioxide and other global warming emissions. These gases act like a blanket, trapping heat. The result is
a web of significant and harmful impacts, from stronger, more frequent storms, to drought, sea level rise, and extinction. In contrast, most renewable energy sources
produce little to no global warming emissions. Even when including “life cycle” emissions of clean energy (ie, the emissions from each stage of a technology’s life
—manufacturing, installation, operation, decommissioning), the global warming emissions associated with renewable energy are minimal.

Improved public health

The air and water pollution emitted by coal and natural gas plants is linked with breathing problems, neurological damage, heart attacks, cancer, premature death,
and a host of other serious problems. Most of these negative health impacts come from air and water pollution that clean energy technologies simply don’t produce.
Wind, solar, and hydroelectric systems generate electricity with no associated air pollution emissions.

Inexhaustible energy
Strong winds, sunny skies, abundant plant matter, heat from the earth, and fast-moving water can each provide a vast and constantly replenished supply of energy.

Jobs and other economic benefits

Compared with fossil fuel technologies, which are typically mechanized and capital intensive, the renewable energy industry is more labor intensive. Solar panels
need humans to install them; wind farms need technicians for maintenance.
This means that, on average, more jobs are created for each unit of electricity generated from renewable sources than from fossil fuels.

Stable energy prices

Renewable energy is providing affordable electricity across the country right now, and can help stabilize energy prices in the future.
Although renewable facilities require upfront investments to build, they can then operate at very low cost (for most clean energy technologies, the “fuel” is free).
As a result, renewable energy prices can be very stable over time.

Reliability and resilience

Solar are less prone to large-scale failure because they are distributed and modular. Distributed systems are spread out over a large geographical area, so a severe
weather event in one location will not cut off power to an entire region. Modular systems are composed of numerous individual wind turbines or solar arrays. Even
if some of the equipment in the system is damaged, the rest can typically continue to operate.

Growth of Renewable Energy Sources in KSA
 The Saudi Arabian government plans to decrease the heavy reliance on oil in power generation and produce one-third of the nation’s electricity from solar.
 This is expected to drive the demand for solar energy and, in turn, for renewable energy sector in the country, hence amounting to the largest share in 2020 among other renewable energy types.

 The 2030 target of the Saudi Arabian Government is expected to involve the development of 40 GW of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity and 2.7 GW of concentrated solar power (CSP) capacity.

 In November 2021, the 30 MW Haradh solar farm went online and started delivering electricity to National Agricultural Development Co. under a power purchase agreement at a price of SAR 0.094
per kWh for a duration of 25 years.

 In August 2021, ACWA Power reached a financial close on the 1.5 GW Sudair solar photovoltaic power plant in Saudi Arabia. The project is located in Sudai Industrial City and is the first project
under the public investment fund's renewable energy program.

 As of early 2020, Saudi Arabia launched the third round of its renewable energy program, to add a total of 1.2 gigawatts of solar photovoltaic power capacity to the grid, and open bidding for six solar
energy projects with a combined capacity of 1.2 GW.

Changing KSA landscape, increasing demand for Fashion
Products
1. This is the Season to be Spending
Historically, the busiest search period in the year has been the week of Eid Al Fitr (right after Ramadan), when people shop online and offline for clothing, accessories and footwear among
other things to mark the end of Ramadan. Travel activity peaks during this period and the market is awash with discounts and credit card offers, adding to the excitement.

2. Shopping is for Weekdays

Peak search time on weekdays is between 1PM and 3PM. On weekends, things remain busiest around 2PM but also pick up most in the evenings between 7PM and 9PM. Online browsing of
fashion is a key ‘winding down’ activity, be it after lunch on weekdays or in the evening on a weekend.

3. Women are Busy Shoppers. Men search on Mobile in Arabic.

We know Saudi is mobile first and it comes as no surprise that 75% of apparel and accessory searches in the fourth quarter of 2016 were on a mobile device. Women usually shop more than
men, and again, it is no surprise that search volume for ‘women’s clothing’ was almost 5 times that of ‘men’s clothing’ in the same period.

4. Everyone knows everyone in the world of fashion e-commerce

We looked at what else people searching for fashion e-retailers were likely to search for, and found an interesting pattern.
Digital influence was high. Google, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram were all searched in the same session. Amazon, ASOS and Aliexpress were popular side searches, and so were
regional competitors (Shein for Jollychic and vice versa).

5. Style Trends
Traditional Taste
About 60% of the top queries on women’s clothing in Saudi Arabia were related to traditional wear (sheyla and abaya), and almost all were in Arabic. Trending searches showed a strong
influence from North Africa, with searches for outfits specifying Egyptian or Moroccan styles. A popular query was styles to wear the Shayla. In terms of occasions, graduation was a
significant trigger for abaya searches.
Market Size for our Products/Services
Saudi Arabia is one of the most abundant countries in the world when it
comes to solar energy potential. In just six years, the country has managed
to install over 3 gigawatts (GW) of photovoltaic (PV) capacity. This is
enough to power over 600,000 homes. According to a new report from
Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), Saudi Arabia is on track to install
an additional 7.2 GW of PV capacity by 2022. This would bring the total
installed capacity up to 10.2 GW.

The Saudi Solar Market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth

rate (CAGR) of 19.8% from 2016 to 2021.

The Saudi Arabian solar market is expected to grow significantly over the
next few years. In 2022, the market is expected to be worth $2.4 billion, an
increase of nearly 300% from 2019.
