Floods in central Vietnam
 The central region where the flood occurred is
considered historic on October 7, 2020. The typhoon
was concentrated mainly in Quang Binh, Quang Tri
and Quang Nam provinces

depression hit northern and north-central Vietnam,
causing flooding that halted traffic in the capital
Hanoi and sparked warnings of landslides on

the national weather centre.
The premier's office directed provincial authorities to
take action to protect residential areas that faced a
