 Being the spirit of disappointment rather than the spirit of Australia – Qantas had
been in Australia for over 100 years but its quality is going down
 Up to 50 minute call wait times - other air lines have an average wait time of 5
minutes while Qantas has an aver age of 20 minutes
 Bad prices – consumers pay premium prices for a budget airline
 More that 50% of flights are delayed – Only
47.1% of flights arrive on time
 Loss of Baggage
 Flight Credits – Customers can’t use their
credits built up over the pandemic, they
weren’t allowed to book lower cost flights
Flaws of Qantas  Qantas didn’t communicate to customers that
they could refund their flights, only getting
credit vouchers and giving their frequent
flyers a $50 flight voucher
Alternatives to Qantas

 Emirates – has good in-flight customer


service and is budget friendly
 Virgin Australia - has good flight
punctuality and flight schedule availability
 Jetstar – has affordable flights, decent
customer service and have on average have
a 70% reliability rate
