What is a media file?
A media file is a file which
contains either video,
audio, animations or
graphics media files.

 1. Graphics
- Graphics are visual images or designs on
some surfaces such as a wall, screen, paper or stone
to inform, illustrate, or entertain.

- Images/Illustration are the oldest form of

media.

- A video file is a file containing a sequence
of images processed electronically into an analogue
or digital format and displayed on the screen with
sufficient rapidity as to create the illusion of motion
and continuity.
- To watch a video without any
interruption, video device must display 25 to 30
frames/second.
 3. Audio File
- Audio file are sound files (file that
play a sound when clicked on)
- The speech, music and sound
effects used in multimedia is digital audio.
 4. Animation File
- This is the file of processed and
created appearance of still images in
sequence motion.
- Digital animation can only be
classified as 2D two dimension and 3D
