INTRODUCTION
In the world of agriculture, where the natural cycles of the sun determine everyday tasks,
having access to stable lighting has the potential to significantly impact the farming and safety
landscape for farmers everywhere. However, millions of people living in countryside regions are
forced to work in the dark due to a lack of electrical infrastructure, which limits their potential
and exposes them to several risks. Creative ideas that combine the strength of renewable energy
sources with the creativity of conventional farming equipment are emerging in response to this
pressing demand. The incorporation of solar-powered lighting devices into the common farmer
hat is one such approach.
For farmers who labor at night or in low light, solar powered hat lights offers a creative option.
The idea seeks to increase the productivity and safety of farmers' work by including solar-
powered lights into their head wear. When working at dawn, dusk, or night, these hat lights give
farmers hands-free illumination to help them manage their environment and recognize possible
dangers. Additionally, by utilizing renewable energy, they reduce dependence on expensive and
environmentally harmful conventional lighting techniques.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
1.Determine the perception of the respondents towards farmer's solar-powered
light hat.
2.Identify the difficulties encountered the respondents towards farmer's solar
light hat.
3.Determine the perceived benefits of farmer's solar-powered light hat.
4.Assess the level of acceptability of farmer's solar-powered light hat in terms
of:
4.1 Functionality
4.2 Design
4.3 Usability
4.4 Energy Efficiency

Review Of Related Literature
The technology-integrated farmers hat offers conveniences and competitive
advantages to wearers, (Rogers 2019) states that the newer an innovation,
the higher the uncertainty associated with this newness is among users.
Unlike mere technological devices, wearable technology in complex,
because it is considered both a device and a garment, integrating
characteristics of clothing( e.g., aesthetics, comfort, durability) and
electronic devices( e.g., usability, safety) at the same time (Gepperth, 2018).
Providing proper safety equipment and work clothing would build a more
positive work experience and increasing the self-confidence of individuals
(Wagner et al., 2018).
Review Related Studies
Various devices which absorb solar energy are currently
being used for agricultural applications (Hoogwijk,
2023).By choosing solar technology, farmers can
contribute to environmental conservation and
sustainability efforts. (Nathan H, 2023). An investigation
on solar cap benefits emphasizes its ability to lower the
temperature, prevent sunstroke, and improve facial
condition, particularly in summer and for outdoor workers
(Xiaohui Xu 2019).
Research Design
To collect data for this study, the descriptive research approach
was used. Data is collected to obtain the information required
to perform its function. Descriptive research design is a type of
research design that aims to systematically obtain information
to describe a phenomenon, situation, or population. Since the
study was focused on Farmer's solar powered light hat the
researchers assert that this method is appropriate. Their
objective of describing the extent to which various
circumstances were attained among these concepts and
research locales.
Research Locale
Since the study is solely made for helping the
farmers, the researchers find this locale to be most
vulnerable for the study. Hence, the study is
conducted at different farmers that are located in
Barangay Talahiban 1, San Juan Batangas, during
the period of 2nd semester of the school year
2023-2024.
Respondents of the Study
The respondents of this study would have a sample size 42 from
Barangay Talahiban 1, San Juan, Batangas. The participants need
to be the farmers who experience working in the night or
midnight. This study will use quota type of purpose sampling
which means that the researchers would use quota based on the
percentage of the population of a subgroup to represent the
sample size. In addition, The researchers will assess and evaluate
the respondents of through the utilization of questionnaire as a
survey by using a Survey Forms to abide to the Farmers solar
powered light hat.
Research Instrument

Survey Questionnaire
Data Collection Procedure
To be able to collect the needed data properly, Following
the approval of the questionnaires, the researchers will
select a set of respondents using simple random sampling.
The responders will be carefully chosen by the researchers
from a group of residents from Barangay, Talahiban 1. The
researchers would then administer the survey personally.
Furthermore, the respondents kept the formation they
provide about their observations private.
Data Analysis Procedure
The data collected from the participants were analyzed using the proper
diagrams, which is supported by relevant research and literature. In order to
examine the data and study relationships between variables, the researchers
employed a table or tabular. The table from the data findings that led to a
conclusion showed the number of respondents, their responses and the
outcome.

To interpret and analyze data, the following statistical tools used:

• Mean.
• Composite Mean
• Weighted Mean
