Since 2003, Minnesotas composite ACT score has gone up from 22.1 to 22.9 (4% increase) Since 2003, JCCs composite ACT score has increased from 20.9 to 22.9 (10% increase) JCC is at the Minnesota State Average, which is the highest in the nation!
Only 109 of the 337 Minnesota School Districts are making AYP. (Less than 1/3 of the state)
To make AYP a school district has to be improving in these areas for all grade levels and sub-groups: Attendance, Graduation, Written Comprehension Test, Math Tests, & Reading Tests

JCC won the Championship in Regional 5-State Tournament in St. Paul. (MN, WI, IA, MO, MI)
- JCC competed at National Tournament in April 2011 in St. Louis against rest of USA, Canada, Mexico, Israel, France, and other nations.
National Competition Oct. 2010 Indianapolis - 3rd Place in Livestock Judging Team - 9th Place in Agronomy/Crops Team State Competition May 2011 St. Paul - 86 JCC students competed on 20 different teams. - 14 teams finished in the Top 4. - We had three 1st place Teams Ag Sales, Crops, and Horse Judging International Competition June 2011 Scotland - JCCs Livestock Judging Team of Evan Koep, Tanner Post, Zach Post, and Kate Anderson competed Highland International. - Evan Koep and Kate Anderson finished 3rd place in the world in the Sheep Judging.
Weve come a long way in the past 15years, and we still have room to grow! Getting the first 79% proficient is far easier than getting the remaining 21%. To accomplish this, we need to continue to think outside the box and work harder than ever!
