General techniques
1. Read the questions. Underline the unique keywords.
2. Write the keywords around the text.
3. Read the text paragraph by paragraph.
4. Mark the words and sentences that relate to the
question keywords.
5. Match the synonym and paraphrases of
the questions and the text.
Answering heading questions
1. Code each heading
2. Codes may vary, but you might use + (positive), -
(negative), f (factors), s (solution), etc.
3. Read the text paragraph by paragraph.
4. See the chain of connections from its words.
5. Match the connection with the headings.
Sentence completion tips
1. Read the questions. Underline the unique keywords.
2. Locate the paragraph.
3. Mark words having similar meaning to questions
keywords
4. Match the synonyms or paraphrases.
5. Find the exact words required. Check the grammar
and category required by the questions.
6. The answers are the exact same words from the text.
•Tips: don’t be swayed by words that sound

words. Pay attention to synonyms and cluster

Concepts:
YES/TRUE = confirm, paraphrase, the same idea with the text.
NO/FALSE = neglect, negation, the opposite of the idea in the text.
NOT GIVEN = different subject, different verb, not talked in the text.
