Class Description
1 Fatality / Death
2 Permanent Disability
3 Temporarily Disability – 5 days & above medical leaves
4 Occupational Poisoning & Disease
5 Dangerous Occurrence ( as per NADOPOD schedule II)
Property Damage
6 Loss Time Incident - 1-4 days Medical Leave
7 First Aid Injury Without Medical Leave
8 Near Miss Incident
9 Non-Occupational Incident

Class I : Fatality / Death
• Any accident arising out of or in
connection with work which
cause death to any person
including Company employees,
Contractor’s and sub-
Contractors’ employees, visitors
and any other persons who are
within the Company premises.

Class II : Permanent disability
• Any accident arising out of or in
connection with work which cause
permanent disability to any
person including Company
employees, Contractor’s and sub-
Contractors’ employees, visitors and
any other persons who are within
the Company premises.

Class III : Temporarily Disability

Class IV : Occupational Poisoning &
Disease
• Any occupational poisoning and
disease that are stipulated in
Schedule III of NADOPOD
Regulations 2004, arising out of or
in connection with work to any
person including Company
employees, Contractor’s and sub-
Contractors’ employees, visitors
and any other persons who are
within the Company premises.

Class V : Dangerous Occurrence &
Property Damage
• Any dangerous occurrence as
defined in Schedule II of
NADOPOD Regulations 2004
and also damages to
Company’s properties.

Class VI : MC 1-4 days

Class VII : First Aid without MC
• Any accident arising out of or
in connection with work which
do not result to Lost Man Days
and only require First Aid
treatment to any person
including Company employees,
Contractor’s and sub-
Contractors’ employees,
visitors and any other persons
who are within the Company
premises.

Class VIII : Near Miss

Class IX : Non-Occupational Accident
• Any other accident that occurs
within the workplace or outside
the workplace but has no
connection with work or arising
out of work.

Unsafe Act
• Unsafe Act - Performance of a task or
other activity that is conducted in a
manner that may threaten the health
and/or safety of workers. Examples
are :
• Failure to warn.
Bypass or removal of safety devices.
Using defective equipment.

Unsafe Condition
• Unsafe Condition - A condition in
the work place that is likely to
cause property damage or injury.
