LITERARY DEVICES
WHAT IS A LITERARY DEVICE AND ITS PURPOSE?

A literary device is a technique that writers use


to express their ideas and hint at larger themes
and meanings in a story. These devices are
excellent ways to enhance writing, strengthen
the narrative and engage readers, helping them
to connect to the characters' themes.
