Teleportation

Introduction
All

the Existing forms of Transport require us to cross a physical distance. Scientists right now are working on a method of travel which eliminate the distance to be traveled. This is being done by combining the properties of telecommunications and transportation.

Teleportation involves dematerialising an object at one point and transferring its information to the destination for its recreation.

This means that if the distance can be eliminated from time travel we can go wherever we want to without traveling a physical distance.

HISTORY
In 1966,the teleportation came into
existence with a science fiction series-the star trek series .

In 1993 it was confirmed that an object could be

teleported if its original form was destroyed.
In 1998,the first photon was teleported. In 2002,a laser beam was teleported. On Oct 4th,2006 a laser beam was teleported on to

a cloud of atoms.

HUMAN TELEPORTATION
It would require a person to be
transported at the speed of light to teleport him. would need to have the capacity of scanning and analyzing 10^28 atoms in a human body and then store this info-rmation and transmit it at the speed of Light. information and like a fax machine the duplicate of the body is created.

The machine that would have to be built

The body to be teleported is scanned for Memories of the body teleported are
teleported as well.

PROBLEMS THAT ARISE

The

memory of a person also needs to be teleported with him . This is done by analyzing the exact state of neutrons that make up the memories and those states are transmitted. Before & After Teleportation

If teleportation is not done properly then the teleported body will be mutilated.

The transfer of information needs to be done at the speed of light and given the amount of information thats present in a human body it would take a century.

PROCEDURE
Atoms in their general state when transported get confused on their way and end up making another part of the body giving the person teleported an extra arm or leg.

To overcome this, Bohr-Einstein theory is used where all the 10^28 atoms are brought to a temperature of less than -215 million k,the lowest attainable temp by mankind.

The atoms at this temperature form one single atom. For transmission at the speed of light they need to be converted into energy which is done using a powerful laser. However,In this process the body gets destroyed.

APPLICATIONS

Cryptography and super dense coding. Medical advancement. Quantum computing.

Recreating human beings who lost their lives in calamities of accidents by teleporting them. Teleportation in space. Teleportation as a time-machine.

DRAWBACKS

The biggest Drawback of teleportation is that its not yet as practical as it seems to be.

Teleportation if not done properly can result in disasters. Teleportation consumes loads of energy.

A Few

people claim that teleporting a person would result in the loss of his soul.

FUTURE

The future of teleportation holds devices that can take you from one galaxy to another, from one planet to another.

This means that we could inhabit mars as it has water on it.

Teleportation will create a revolution in the history of mankind.
