James Pappas is the son of the co-founder of PJ Mechanical- a leading NYC based company that specializes in HVAC systems. The company has over 40 years of experience serving the real estate industry of New York and has earned immense reputation for providing top quality heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems available. Since its inception, the firm has served many prominent businesses and worked on many projects including 130 W 12th Street, Cannon, Madison square garden renovation, One WTC, International Gem Tower, Cornell Medical Center and more. In most of its projects, the company follows LEED certified guidelines and incorporates innovations in energyefficient technologies.

James Pappas was given the Man of the Year award at the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of Americans Long Island Chapter. He is the Chapters immediate past President and longtime advocate. He strives to bring awareness to people regarding Crohns disease and is highly regarded for his commitment to the Foundation.

Humanitarian Activities
James Pappas is a Major Donor and Parishioner to the Greek Orthodox Church of Resurrection (Brookville), and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, World Trade Center site. Moreover, he is also a major donor to the Dormition of the Virgin, Greek Orthodox Church (South Hampton), Southern Methodist University (Dallas), St. Dominic Church (Oyster Bay), and St. Dominic Elementary School.

Other Associations
James Pappas is the Committee member for Cyprus Childrens Fund and has helped underprivileged children up to the age of eighteen, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare Department of Cyprus. Since 1998, he has also been the Board Member of the Village of Brookville, Planning Board, and Architectural Review. Aside from that, he is also a Committee Member for MS Society, Special Olympics, Dinner and Golf Outing, CJ Foundation for SIDS (Golf Outing), and Steven and Alexandra Cohen Childrens Hospital, New Leadership Division.
