What is sweatshop?
It is a term used for any working environment considered to be unacceptably difficult or dangerous. Sweatshop workers often work long hours for very low pay, regardless of laws mandating overtime pay or a minimum wage. Child labor laws may be violated.

Also, sweatshop conditions include forced overtime, child labor, unsafe and horrible working conditions, discrimination, verbal and physical abuse. When workers try to organize a union, they are often fired.

Sweatshop characteristics
Working conditions in most of the factories and home workshops are terrible, and the workers are poorly treated. Workers can be exposed to hazardous materials, harmful situations, extreme temperatures, and continuous abuse from employers.
