Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani was born on 28 december1932

to a local school teacher in a village called Chorwad, in Junagarh district of Gujrat. He is also referred to as manchester of India. He had voyaged from a journey of rags to riches. He had been an opportunist right from his childhood. He used to sale Ghantia a Gujrat flavour on Mahashivratri fair. Due to financial problem he left his education after metriculation and went to Aden and had worked there at a petrol pump station for 8 years and then came back to India with a vision of starting his own business.

Achievements:
Dhiru Bhai Ambani built India's largest private sector

company. Created an equity cult in the Indian capital market. Reliance is the first Indian company to feature in Forbes 500 list
Dhirubhai Ambani was the most enterprising Indian

entrepreneur. His life journey is reminiscent of the rags to riches story. He is remembered as the one who rewrote Indian corporate history and built a truly global corporate group.

reintroduced successful concepts like partial convertible bond, fully convertible bonds etc.

Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani were not having the ego
