While completing this project you will probably be surprised about how much you will find out about yourself that maybe you hadnt thought about before. Use your creativity to construct a booklet that reflects you and your life so far. The booklet you will create will be used to introduce yourself to me and to the members of our class. Your final book must be neatly written using blue or black ink, or if you have access to a computer, the booklet can be typed. Double space if typing. Each section must be written or typed on a separate sheet of paper. All of the sections must be titled correctly. Have a parent or a classmate proofread your rough draft before you begin the final draft. Assemble your book neatly and creatively. Include pictures and illustrations where necessary. Create a cover for your booklet that is a reflection of you. Please include a title for your booklet as well as your name, date, and class.

Each of the following sections can be completed in any order, but need to be assembled in the correct order. Pictures or illustrations can be added to any of the sections to make your book more interesting. Section 1: I Am Use the model of the I Am poem that is provided. Complete each line with the required descriptions of you. Section 2: Picture This Find a picture of yourself from your past. Tell us the story of when and why the picture was taken. Be sure to include details of where you were, who was with you, what you were doing, how you were feeling, why you chose that picture, etc. Be sure to include the picture! Section 3: All About Me Recipe You will become a chef and create the perfect recipe to describe yourself. Use the model that is provided to help you. Section 4:

Language Arts Select THREE of the following options to write about. Each section must be AT LEAST one paragraph in length. (Remember: A good paragraph should contain approximately EIGHT sentences.) My Accomplishments Write about something that you did in your past that you are proud of; it does not necessarily have to be something related to school. Explain thoroughly. My Goals/Future Describe what you would like to learn, do and/or be in the future. Make sure that you explain WHY. My Family and Me Describe your family members and what you like about each one. Include pictures of them if you wish. (Be sure to write this in paragraph formnot just a list.) The Relaxing Me Tell about your favorite forms of entertainment and/or what you like to do to relax. Be sure you explain WHY. Me Back When Tell a short story about something you did or something that happened to your that made such an impression you still remember it. People I Admire Name your role models and explain WHY. Make sure your explanations are insightful. My Name Write about how you got your name, what your name means, where it came from, who named you, etc. Tell the story of your name. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? If money was no object, where would you like to travel to and why? Be creative with thisit does not necessarily have to be a place that still exists today. Trading Places If you could be anyone for a day, who would you want to be and WHY? Time Traveler If you could go back in time and meet anyone from the past, who would you like to meet? Make sure you explain in detail why you would like to meet this person.

Language Arts My Life According to Me You will write a 1-2 page autobiography of your life. You may need help from friends or family recalling events in your life. Only be sure to include the important events from your life!

To create this energetic, caring 6th grader, combine: 1 family of 3 children. Sift out the two oldest children. Beat rapidly adding clear, blue eyes, 1 pinch of shyness, and a heaping love of drums, music and books. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 years and remove promptly. Let it cool for 6 months then frost with a future full of success and happiness. Serve immediately. Your guests will be sure to ask for more.
